WHAT KIDS LOVE

SPORTS & ATHLETICS

Our Athletics Department provides sports activities for teams and individuals of various ages and capabilities. When participating in our sports programs, members learn team concepts to prepare them for friendly competition. Our emphasis is on helping members reach their full potential, staying active, promoting a healthy lifestyle, making new friends and learning sportsmanship.

We offer and participate in various sports leagues including but not limited to:


BASEBALL

The Baseball league is held in the late spring. There are various divisions which include Co-Ed Pee Wee Coach Pitch Division for 1st and second graders; and Co-Ed Elementary Division for members in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.



BASKETBALL

The Basketball league is held in the spring. There are various divisions which include Co-Ed Pee Wee Division for members in 1st and 2nd grades; Co-Ed Elementary Division for members in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades; Co-Ed Middle School Division for members in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades; Middle School Girls Division; High School Girls Division; and Boys High School Basketball League which consists of a total of 16 teams that participate in the league. All the leagues are run with officials and each division has at least 4 teams from different Boys & Girls Clubs and youth centers.



FLAG FOOTBALL

The Flag Football league is held in the fall. The divisions include a Co-Ed Elementary Division and Co-Ed Middle School Division. Our Flag football program is in partnership with the National Football League.



INDOOR SOCCER

The Indoor Soccer league is held in the spring. The indoor soccer games take place in our Club gymnasium. The Co-Ed Elementary Division includes members that are between 1st and 5th grades.



OUTDOOR SOCCER

The Outdoor Soccer League is held in the summer. The divisions include Co-Ed Pee Division for members in 1st and 2nd grades; Co-Ed Elementary Division for members in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades; and Co-Ed Middle School Division.



ROCK CLIMBING

The newest addition to our Athletics programming is Rock Climbing. Our members have access to our Rock Climbing wall for an hour each day. In addition, Rock Climbing professionals from Touch Stone Climbing provide our members with training once a month. Our members are also provided with opportunities to rock climb at LA Boulders in Downtown Los Angeles and Cliffs of ID in Culver City.



SOFTBALL

The Girls Middle School Softball league is held in the late spring.



VOLLEYBALL

The Volleyball league is held in the fall and consists of Middle School Girls and High School Girls Divisions.
