GIRLS NOW PART OF THE VARIETY CLUB!

The Club originally enrolled only boys, with a girls club adjacent to the main building, and was one of the first clubs nationally to integrate genders. In 2008, the Club opened a satellite club at Pueblo Del Sol less than two minutes away from the home site and within a public housing development administered by the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles.

OUR CLUB GETS A FACELIFT

In November of 2011, the Variety Boys and Girls Club, Variety of Southern California and other friends and partners celebrated the grand opening of the Club’s new and vastly improved $10.1 million dollar, 28,500-square-foot building. The facility symbolizes the heightened expectations for the Board, Staff and the youth, and serves as a representation of the Club’s commitment to serve more children in the community as well as provide space for other community organizations to host programs and events.
