EVENTS BY KIDDOS
VBGC Members learn to be Junior Event Planners through various projects including budgeting, decorating, designing invitations and mood boards. Members work individually to create and conceptualize a themed party and the member who has the best proposal becomes lead Event Planner. The Lead Event Planner will then direct the other members in the class to help him/her execute the event.
Members design and create a video game using Adobe Illustrator. Members develop a game concept, characters, and story line. Members also use Mario Maker to create levels.
VBGC members explore graphic techniques using Adobe Illustrator. Each week, members learn a tool from Illustrator that will help develop their creativity. Additionally, members learn about typography, editing, and design.
Using Polaroid cameras, VBGC members go on various photography field trips to practice their photography skills. The photography field trips are based on different themes explored in Photo Theory such as graffiti and landscape photography.
VBGC members explore a career in advertising. Members create their own ads for different companies, creating new slogans, catchphrases and design using Adobe Photoshop.
